Hamas Doesn’t Want Peace. It Wants Your Silence.

The most dangerous lie in the modern political bloodstream is that Hamas is a “resistance movement” seeking peace. It isn’t. Hamas is not interested in negotiations, coexistence, or reconciliation. Its founding charter is not a list of grievances, it is a death warrant, calling for the eradication of Israel and the murder of Jews worldwide. This is not hyperbole. It is their stated goal. In their own words, Hamas exists to wage “jihad until the last enemy is vanquished.” For decades, the West has been told to believe that if Israel just made more concessions, if it gave up more land, dismantled more settlements, pulled back more soldiers, peace would follow. Yet every concession has been met not with olive branches, but with rockets, suicide bombings, and October 7th. Why? Because Hamas doesn’t want peace. Peace means compromise, and compromise means Israel continues to exist. That is unacceptable to them. But Hamas has a second, equally lethal aim: your silence. It understands that it cannot match Israel on the battlefield without turning the world against the Jewish state. So it fights its war in the court of public opinion, where the weapons are lies, propaganda, and intimidation. Every staged casualty photo, every misattributed explosion, every tear-jerking but fabricated headline is aimed at making you shut up, back down, and let them define the narrative. We’ve seen it happen. Journalists self-censor to avoid the wrath of online mobs. Academics dress up Hamas talking points as “critical theory.” Even Western governments hesitate to speak plainly for fear of being labelled “Islamophobic” or “colonialist.” This is not organic outrage, it is the success of Hamas’s information warfare. The goal is simple: isolate Israel, delegitimise its right to defend itself, and frighten you into thinking that supporting Israel will destroy your career, your friendships, and your reputation. This is not about dialogue, it’s about domination. If you truly believe in peace, you cannot give Hamas what it wants. You cannot nod along to its lies, pretend its atrocities are “complex,” or reduce its massacre of civilians to “context.” Silence in the face of terrorism is not neutrality, it is complicity. The West has a moral choice: stand with a free democracy defending itself against genocidal fascists, or become another useful idiot in Hamas’s war of annihilation. Hamas will never stop wanting Israel destroyed. But you can stop giving them your voice. Speak up. Loudly. Often. Without apology. Because the day the free world learns to fear speaking the truth is the day Hamas has already won.
